At S&N Motorsports, we can help you make the right choices. Read on to learn about the must-haves for every water adventure.
Life Preserver
If you decide to hop off your Sea-Doo, voluntarily or involuntarily (from falling off), staying afloat is incredibly important. Having buoyant clothing can keep you on the surface and treading water easily. This is why life jackets are an essential part of every PWC driver’s ensemble. They should fit snugly on your torso, while not impeding your ability to drive your Sea-Doo. Any that are U.S. Coast Guard-approved are highly recommended.
Neoprene Shorts and Wetsuits
Neoprene shorts offer support to the lower body while both on and off your Sea-Doo PWC. If you fall off, the neoprene will protect you from striking the water, as well as act as a cushion between you and the saddle.
As for wetsuits, both full-body or shorty wetsuit options have more coverage. Most full-body ones are used for colder temperatures in order to provide insulation and warmth. There’s even headgear that can help shield and limit you from sun exposure.
Eye Protection
As you ride, water spray can splash into your eyes, blinding you from seeing what’s ahead. That’s why eye protection in the form of sunglasses or goggles is crucial to wear as well. Clear vision will help you avoid any hazards.
Now that you know some of the gear and apparel that can make a big difference when cruising on the water, you’re ready to ride, dressed for success, on a Sea-Doo watercraft.
